  2. Installing the CASL runtime .prc file

  4. Before any programs written in CASL can be executed on the PalmPilot,
  5. the CASL runtime interpreter must be downloaded into the device.  This
  6. can be done in Windows with the "Browse" button of the "Install
  7. PalmPilot Applications" application of the Pilot desktop software,
  8. then performing a HotSync.

  10. There are two runtimes for the Pilot.  One is for the PalmPilot
  11. Professional, Personal, and all recent models and is called
  12. CASLrt_Pro.prc, and the other runtime is for the Pilot 1000/5000 and
  13. is called CASLrt_5K.prc.

  15. CASLrt_5K can be run on the PalmPilot Professional & Personal, but the
  16. CASLrt_Pro can not be run on the Pilot 1000/5000 unless it has the Pro
  17. upgrade installed.
